Job Search Tips: Job Search Thearpy to help on the Tough Days
The link below will lead you a 1 minute video, of me talking about our "Cake Decorating Contest - 2012" for Relay for Life of Barrington.
I got up at 3:30 AM in the morning to drive to NBC to do the spot. The point here is during your executive job search if you are looking full time, you need to reach out and volunteer and one hour a week.
Here are the benefits:
1. Gets you out of the house.
2. It gives you some time to clear your head and re-evaluate what you have been accomplishing with your job search.
3. You are helping someone else that needs and appreciates your help. This will help feed back positive energy into your day.
4. You meet new people.
5. You are making a difference and improving the world.
6. You may meet people that may be able to help you with job leads.

This is a clip were I was interview on NBC at 6AM on Sunday morning regarding Relay for Life of Barrington - 2012. I was involved in volunteering doing some of the marketing and events. One of the events I was involved in was "Cake Decorating Contest - 2012" to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

The event was Friday June 8, 2012. We raised over $388,000!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an example of volunteering and trying to make a difference. Find something in your community where you can donate one hour a week to help. You will be surprised at how great you will feel making a difference. It will help re-energize you for your job search.
If you would like to donate go to www.relayforlife.org/barringtonil or your own local Relay for Life, at www.relayforlife.org
Have a great day,
