I thought it would help start getting ready for the start of the New Year with executive job search tips that take us all back to basics. There is a lot to be said for re-evaluating what has been working and more importantly what you need to change for your six figure search in first quarter of 2015.

Now is a natural time to look at the past year's efforts and result in your executive job search and decided how to change your job search strategy and get more traction and results in your executive job outlook 2015!

Six Figure Executive Job Search Tips 4.0

 1)   Get focused on what type of six figure executive jobs you are looking for.

2)   Create a new resume or update /edit a pre-existing resume for your current executive job search campaign. I am firm believer in multiple versions to serve various six figure job opportunities that you are considering. Create customized resume to focus on the skill set that are listed on the six figure executive job listings that you are applying for. Also less is better on the length of your resume for your initial submissions. You can take the longer version to the actual interview. I will be getting into more details on this in my blog and future Tele Seminars.

3)   Create a list of target companies/industries that you would like to work for. I am suggesting you start with 100-200 companies and all their contact information. Gather all the appropriate contact information you will need to follow-up on during your six figure executive job search campaign. I am advising creating this information in Microsoft Excel if you are familiar with that software. Create different spreads sheets for different industries.
