Consumer Confidence Increase to Help Job Outlook
Job Search Market Update: Consumers are becoming more optimistic this month, giving hopes that more jobs will become available. More people may start to re-enter the labor force as the economy improves. This increase of people looking for jobs, will still keep the labor market fairly competitive on the job front. "Economists surveyed by Bloomberg earlier this month project the unemployment rate, at 9.7% in March, will end the year at 9.4%"
For the consumer product job seekers, note Whirlpool Corporation, the world's largest major appliance manufacturer, increased their forecast for the year based on the fact that their 1Q sales were 20% higher than the same time last year! A good sign guys.
