Job Search Tips: Your Job Search Process is Like Growing a Bamboo Tree

Watch below this 4 minute video talking about the Chinese Bamboo Tree. The story should remind you of your executive job search at times where you keep making all this effort but do not see any results of a long time. Stay in there, do not give up. Each day make sure you are taking some type of action in your executive job search. The tenacity and patience will pay off. If you do not take consistent action, you will soon slide from being in the game. Stay in the game and get back on your horse! The market is slowly turning.

Executive Job Search Expert Action Plan:

1. Remember to refresh your profiles at all the main executive job posting web sites, while working on your executive search online.

2. Plan to contact again and follow up with people you have not heard back from in the past 60 days. A lot of things can change in that time period.

3. Find one new networking group this week you have not tried or visited in a long time.

4. Volunteer 1 hour somewhere with your church, kids’ school, political campaign, American Cancer Society - Relay for Life, or Save a Pet Center.

Job Search Tips: 6 Figure Job Search Tips

Most six figure job search executives are highly motivated, over achievers that are not used to spending a lot of "down time". The point here is that you do need to allow yourself some "down time" to re-group and recharge your executive job search.

If you keep pushing yourself during your executive job search, you will create an environment of zero diminishing returns. When you step back from your executive job search process, relax and recharge, you will find your mind sharper and stronger in the area to fully assess your job search, and think with a stronger strategic mind.

After your "down time", re-write and update your six figure job search game plan. My 8 year old son, found this video which I wanted to share with you. The video is about 7 minutes but enjoyable to watch. Give yourself a break....    

While you are watching it let your mind go, or just listen to the music. My birthday is March 11th and I am a Pisces, so I can watch water all day. Breath in and out deeply five times. Then think about the five things you want to accomplish tomorrow when you start your new day.
